Did you know Al Gore's daughter is a writer for Futurama? She wrote an animated trailer for his documentary "An Inconvenient Truth".

I just do that Blockbuster thing now. Get 'em in the mail. I only go to Blockbuster store twice a month. Once to get my two free DVD/Games and once to return them. I've been watching Deadwood and Entourage on DVD lately.

We all would not be here if it were not for Al Gore for "taking the initiative in inventing the internet"

I had HBO and Cinemax for a while. But pretty quickly you realize that they are just showing the same movies over and over and over and over again. Got old, so I dropped them.
Now I just buy DVDs. Some aren't worth the plastic they are made out of, but I figure when I find time to do some shooting, I'll have some handy targets to shoot at. I'm truly amazed that some of that stuff ever made it to the screen.

Heck I'm not amazed that people watch that stuff at all. The hype advertising sells the crap. I don't know how many movies I have watched that have been raved as being the "comedy of the decade", or some such nonsense. But I guess paid reviewers will say whatever the highest bidder wants them to say...

I think Family Guy and Futurama is good stuff.
It's brain dead TV and it makes me
Then it's back to CNN

I wound up picking up the entire Seinfeld series on DVD and have to admit I got a lot of laughs out of them. Not having to watch commercials is a real treat, and the main reason I don't watch TV at all.
Any other good shows on DVD that would be worth buying? Comedies and sci-fi are what I like the most.
