You only have about a week to order something if you want it delivered in time.

If you all are like me, my wife always complains that she doesn't have a clue about what to get me for Christmas. Everything I am interested in is rather technical, and she doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of just figuring out on her own and ordering the right part for me.

So lay your Christmas wish list out here, and casually mention to the SO about this really cool thread Rich Z started on the site.

Oh and make it easy on them. Be real SPECIFIC about what you want, state the company, catalog page number, and item number. And if there are any other details, put them in writing too. Let's make this a Corvette Christmas this year!

Remember my first post (the second one in this thread), item 4. on my wish list is quoted above. Well, look what I caught the wife hiding from me in the garage!!!!

It always pays to sneak around the house just before Christmas.

Madn3ss, I told you that each one on my list was do-able. I'll see if I can sneak it out side tomorrow and get a better picture for you!

You're one lucky SOB! I love that car. Best of luck with it, and I can't wait to see the pictures.

Yea, I wanted something to be my run around car when I retire this summer and I am tired of driving the Tahoe. Plus, I wanted something that would catch a few eyes, run an autocross, or an occasional high speed. I could do the first with the '69 and the first two with the '01, but not all three. So, I happened to spot this on the CF this week and the owner was only about 15 miles from me, so Joyce and I went and took a look at it and now it's in our garage.

The car was bought out of Kerbeck by the previous owner and he had it just over two years. It is number 1995 of 2025 Z16s. When I picked it up it had 5992 miles on it so it has not been used much. It does need a serious detailing. The previous owner was not really a Corvette guy and it has some minor scratches that need to be buffed out! He had the $20 plastic chrome letters in the rear bumper fascia, but they were coming off. So, today I got those off and cleaned the rear bumper and installed the front license cover with new stainless letters front and rear. Hopefully I get sometime this weekend to work on it, but it will get there.

It was sunny today, but in the low 50s so I pulled it out for a minute and took a couple pictures. The vanity plates are the previous owners and already off the car.

I hope you like it! Don't give me anymore ideas because I only have one more bay left in Ft. Myers and the wife has already claimed it for her SRX.
