Yeah, this does go a long way towards explaining the government's confiscatory taxation along with rules and regulations seemingly designed to keep people from being able to keep more of what they earn. I wonder how many people decided against going into business for themselves because of all the government imposed red tape associated with such an upwards movement in potential earned income? Let's face it, rarely does anyone get wealthy working for someone else as an employee.
In other words, we are being disarmed in the sense that wealth, or at least enough money above and beyond what it takes to just earn a modest living, enables people to be able to afford to fight the government.
Of course, most people don't contemplate the root word of "government" with the understanding of what it apparently really means.
