Took this video last Saturday at the Sonic drive in near Lake Jackson north of Tallahassee on route 27. They seem to get a wide assortment of vehicles out there and well worth planning on being there. People begin showing up around 5pm and parking gets to be a premium pretty quickly.




Definitely worth seeing.........

Is there a setting I am missing??? Everytime I go to Vimeo the videos do not play smoothly if they play at all. Other videos run fine except when I go to this Vimeo.

It may be that your computer is not up to snuff. The benefit of the vimeo site is that it allows the use of actual high definition videos. But of course, that puts a lot of strain on your PC as well as your ISP's bandwidth.

This particular video was 209 megabytes (with original resolution of 1280x720 pixels) when I uploaded it. I assume there is some compression going on when you download it to your PC to view it, but even so, it is still going to be a HUGE file. Places like YouTube only allow a MAX of 100 megabyte files, and severely compress it when you view the video. They also have an icon to put the display in full screen mode, but in my opinion, it looks like crap.

Sorry, but this is the way the internet is progressing. Static images may someday be completely replaced by full media events embedded in websites. I can certainly see that happening already....

If you are on dial-up, expect the internet to leave you far, far behind, unfortunately.
