Default T-Boned

Just got t-boned in my C6 by a 17 year old girl driving a LEXUS. Her insurance company wants to put me in a FORD FOCUS during the fix.

Ouch! Hope you are OK.

You didn't really expect anything more from an insurance company, not did you?

Did the damage happen in WC, and if so where at?

That's only because they don't make Yugo's anymore.

Man, I'm sorry to hear that

Insurance companies will put you in the cheapest thing they can. Usually, there's a dollar amount allowed for a rental, up to a maximum.
You should be able to rent what you want within those guidelines.

Glad to hear you're ok, but don't sign off on anything until you're sure!

Man that stinks. Hope you're OK. If they're able to fix it, the kid must not have been going too fast. Or else 'vettes are tougher than I thought. Either way I hope it comes out right for you.

I'll tell ya the Focus SYNC works a lot better than the crap my 08 has . Don't get me wrong I don't intend to trade my 08 for a Focus .

Good luck ,best wishes.

That sucks!

Which insurance company does she have? Are you going to put the claim on her insurance or yours? I just went through some insurance headaches when someone rear-ended me back in Nov. ( see here: http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forum...ad.php?t=53740 )

If I can be of any help, just ask. I'm also happy to recommend a lawyer, if it gets to that point.
