Hey, what's for dinner?
That was kind of what this little gray rat snake might have been thinking when I found him laying in the middle of the floor of the old reptile building today.
Sorry bub. Day late and a dollar short. Not a pinky mouse in the house.
So I ran him down to the edge of one of the bamboo groves and set him on his way.

Yeah, he did sort of look lonesome in that building all by himself.

I caught a yellow rat snake in my yard a few months ago. Don't see many of them, 90% of the time it's a black snake.

Yeah, lots of black snakes around here too. But we do see an occasional coachwhip, which are actually pretty cool snakes.

Yeah, they serve "snakes", but they don't "serve snake". I ate some in Vietnam,
and it was kinda bland. Somewhat like chicken, but not exactly like it. Gave it
up as a bad habit after 1 experience..........AND......no regrets about quitting
either!

I ate rattlesnake once. I must admit I liked it. It was a bit like chicken. It was broiled with butter and garlic salt.

I think I could eat a snake if I had the opportunity and incentive. Heck, had enough of them try to eat my hands when I was working with them with my reptile breeding business. Turn about is fair play, I suppose.
