Well, the truth of the matter is that the oil companies know that those who NEED to drive really can't do a damned thing about the situation. And realistically, unless you live in an area of easy access to public transportation, or can carpool everywhere, that pretty means most of us.

Seriously what CAN you do about it?

We could take to the streets and riot and protest like is done in other countries to get s#!t done......or like we used to do in this country in the old days to get s#!t done.......but we've been castrated beyond repair in this country so...............

Well, you're obviously older than me, Jim. I can remember paying 35 cents per gallon for my '66 GTO...... Of course, that was the high priced Sunoco 260.
