New from Sarasota/Cape Coral
Hello,
My name is adam and i between sarasota and cape coral. I have been on the corvette forum for years but it is nice to have a forum dedicated to florida owners. i am 17, but dont let that fool you. I am just as interested and respectful towards my car as anyone could be. I have begun modifying my car but with limited income this becomes somewhat difficult. Because of my age i have a hard time connecting with other corvette owners and i am hoping that a forum of local cars will allow me to connect with those who share my passions (regardless of any age gap). look forward to good times on the Corvetteflorida Forum
Adam

Welcome to the club......

Welcome to the site Adam! Man I'm sure you hear this a lot, but I wish I could afford a Vette at 17. Got mine at 33, not too bad. Unfortunately the mods can get quite expensive. You can save quite a bit of money if you know how to do it yourself.
Hope to catch you at a show.
Scott

thanks scott. The reason that i got the vette is because im going to go to college for free on a scholorship. the car used to be my dads until he learned it would be cheeper to insure me on the vette would be cheaper than on a volvo . Thus the vette became my car. He hasnt driven it in years. I hope to see you at a show as well. happy driving

Isn't the insurance amazing? I'm able to insure my Z06 for less than my Camaro SS, with better coverage mind you. Went from 10/20/25 to 100/300/100 and it's $700 less a year! You won't hear me complain. I'm paying about $500 every 6 months.
