Default BBQ Sauce...

Alright boys, time to fess up...What do you use on the meat that is blessing your grill?

Me? If it's something requiring bbq sauce, I usually use KC Masterpiece. Up until now. Recently while on a white water rafting trip, I discovered a product called Country Bobs and WOW. This stuff is perty durn good (if ya like a sweeter sauce)!!!
Anyway, you can see/order his product line
@ countrybobs.com. His dipping sauce is absolutely FAB as well!!!
BTW, your local walmart may sell hill product too. If not, order it on line like I did.

Anyway, If you have a Killer bbq, dipping or whatever sauce...Please POST IT!!!
I'm always looking for something new!

Tia,

~Ray

I found this awhile back in a country store,I can't remember where, sorry, but you can order it online.Awesome stuff on meats
I like to cook the meat alittle first then, grill it,then right before it done, pour on the sauce.
O man,now I'm hungry
Also like to dry rub my meat

BBQ sauce is for folks who don't know how to properly season the meat before they cook it!

Try this if you can find it. It's not usually found in the bigger stores, and I don't know why. It's a very good dry rub for pork and chicken when properly used. I just served 50 people over in New Smyrna Beach last week and everyone loved it.

As far as BBQ sauces go, when I use it, I use Stubb's and Williamson Brothers. You can find these at Publix Supermarkets. Everyone has there own taste and BBQ sauces have different bases. Some are vinegar based, some mustard based, some tomato, some sugar (corn syrup).

Im with 85 vette. If I need sauce to eat a piece of meat, its going back to the kitchen. Even meats that are grilled with sauce(ribs, chicken, etc). . . nothing extra goes on my plate.

I do however love french fries with bbq sauce. Anything but that Kraft garbage is good for me!

I've used a few rubs before and didn't care for them. I will try what's recommended here though.

FWIW.. I don't throw bbq sauce on everything I grill (I use to though). Typically I'll use a marinade before grilling certain meats.

I haven't had much luck with steaks though. I've used different seasonings out of a shaker and it seems to change the texture and gives it a bad taste IMO.

Thanks for the input fellas. Again, I'll try what's recommended here.
