Hey Linda, what about Emily? Didn't that storm go across the southern Caribbean and then beat the crap out of the Yucatan peninsula, then turn back like a paperclip and hit Everglades city then intensified and beat the crap out of Ft. Lauderdale? I think I remember that one correctly!?!?

I am sorry, I said Emily and I really meant Wilma. Wilma was the year after Charlie so it should have been 2005. I drove down from Maryland just to put the shutters up on our house for Wilma. Fortunately, most of the damage was south of us.

Ok, I remember Wilma. I was in Arizona visiting my sister. Robert had the duty at home with the dogs and no power,etc. When I got home we still we without power for 2 more days. Thank goodness for generators!
