I heard on the radio this morning about a show in Lehigh Acres, so since I am down here by myself for this trip, I took a ride over and bumped into a bunch of SW guys. Probably about 6 or 7 cars. I talked for a few minutes with Rudy and Dan since I remembered them from the cruise to Felda.

The SW contingent of car clubs (Tampa Bay Vettes, Corvettes on the Gulf, Corvettes of Naples as well as our club was represented). Hey Rich!! You've got internet now?? I had to work today. When I got off I drove Robert over there but it was after 4 and most cars were gone. Glad you got to meet some folks.

Actually, one of the reasons I made the trip was to setup a make shift office (laptop, cable modem, and a chair) so that I can do some office stuff while I am down here. Got the modem setup this morning with a lot less difficulty than I had expected and had some time to do a little cruising. I had left the house for about 10 minutes when I heard about the show on the radio. Not very large but a bunch of guys from SW Florida Corvette Club. I talked to Rudy (54) and Dan (Red 79?) for about 15 minutes. I think I left the show around 1:00.

Well, doing some office stuff tomorrow and then flying back to the cold weather Tuesday mid day. I'll try to see you on our next trip back. Should be early March.
