Default Pollen on my Vette

Noticed green dust on my black Vette today! I've lived in Florida all of my life and never noticed pollen on cars this early. You never see pollen till around late Feb or into March.

Something is wacky with the weather these days!

Default Spring has sprung

We have usually had several freezes by now here in Citrus County, but there is a lot of new growth on plants that thought they were dormant. Trees are having lots of new growth and flowers are blooming, butterflies fluttering. A bit of a break with some cold weather would be nice since it is so darn hot eight months out of the year. Guess we should be grateful for pollen with the snow problems they have out west. We can drive in pollen!!

My folks live in Western New York and they are having the mildest winter in 230+ years. It was in the mid 50's yesterday.
Can anyone say Global Warming

So, how far above sea level is your house? There are many instances of glaciers melting, so when the polar ice caps substantially melt off, the sea levels are going to rise......... I remember reading somewhere that the ice at the polar caps is somewhere between 2 and 3 MILES thick.

According to the Geological Survey maps of my area, I think we are around 18 foot above sea level here.

We live in the Central Ridge area, about 150 feet above sea level. We'll be an island, just like the keys..
