i bought some black carpet to replace the tan. while it was out, i added the frost king insulation. went real easy with the helper

Many have done it and said its quieter inside the car. For the week i have driven the car with no carpet, the insulation was barely warm from the heat coming off the tunnel area.

Yeah, when I wrapped my exhaust pipes and put insulation on the tunnel plate, that made a pretty big difference on the C5Z.

Wouldn't mind doing the same thing you did too, some day.

it is quieter in the car. more of a muffled low sound now.
