Default Pine pollen?

Man, maybe my memory is screwed up but we have pine tree pollen all over EVERYTHING and this seems to be WAY earlier than last year! Got that greenish yellow dust all over everything. I'm going to have to wash off the car cover and then dry it before I can take it off of the C5Z. Which I will then probably have to at least rise off as well.

Got a flower coming out on the Cherokee Rose bush. All kinds of plants putting out new growth.

I think Winter was only something like a week long up here.... Had one night that went down to 22 degrees. Just enough to shock the hell out of some of the more tender plants.

I have not noticed it here yet. I am glad pine dust and love bugs are not at the same time

I have had oak pollen on my Vette for the last 3 weeks, a good 6 weeks ahead of normal.

Maybe my horticultural skills need to be sharpened. How do you tell the difference between pine pollen and oak pollen? The stuff here is a greenish yellow in coloration.

I wonder if this apparently early Spring is going to mean an early hurricane season this year.....
