Barry was a blessing down here, too. Got nice rain Friday and some Saturday. Got the lawn fertilized between showers, so I'm a happy person The vette was safe and dry in the carport under it's cover.

Is that what that was? Damn, didn't realize it until now.
It cleaned all of the love bugs my Sentra got from my trip to Central Florida on Thursday and it nearly killed off my smoking tent!  Oh well, today was gorgeous. Gave the 'vette an oil change and everything. Damn gnats were everywhere though. Anyone else attacked by gnats?

Didn't get much more than a sprinkle from the storm over here. There was a 10 percent chance of rain on Sunday, and of course, Connie and I took the C5Z out and found that 1 spot in 10 getting rain..... 
So the plant life is still hurting around here.....

Finally got a decent rain today. Not long, but it rained hard enough to really soak the ground. The plants are looking better already. Hopefully the entire state has had enough rain to put the fire problem behind us for a while.

Today at noon on the radar i saw some heavy T-storms just east of you.
Once the gulf temp gets about 85 degrees our rainy season should kick in here in the Tampa area.

Yeah, but those warm Gulf temps are a dual edged sword. The Gulf also becomes an excellent incubating medium for hurricanes....
