Default Free tune analysis with dyno session!

Bring your car in for a dyno session, and we will not only give you the standard printout of rear wheel HP & TQ, but a tune specialist will log the runs and do an in-depth analysis of your current tune.....air fuel ratio throughout the run, timing tables, fuel trims, etc. and discuss how & if a tune would be a good choice & what gains in power & fuel economy you could expect. And as an added bonus, we will credit your dyno fee towards the full tune cost AND discount it all another $50 on top of it all!!

Call to schedule: 941-753-5255

I know, Dan is one of them. Regarding my problem, the EBCM went south and when I bring it up on the converter at 1400 the engine starts cutting out. It has to be TC right? I cannot disable it. Don't think I can run it like this.

I really want to make one of your dyno days just to see if I can improve my tune. Shift points, timing......

Log a scan of it when it is doing this & replay it looking closely at the TPS position & the timing. If it is shutting the throttle at the same time then I suspect it is the traction control. Read any codes & post them up so I can get a better idea....

I just went out with street tires and my street tune in it. TC does not work. I am going to test with DR's. Maybe with the bad ECBM it can't handle a 17" tire. If it's still OK I will load my race tune and see what it does.

Something I left out is that I forgot my helmet Sat night so I had to really slow it down. I launched in 2nd and normally it's never a problem but that may have compounded another problem because of the EBCM. I'm thinking I will see you at the track Sat. We're going over to the other house tomorrow so I can be at Sunshine Fri night and Bradenton Sat.

I just tested with DR's and it's fine. I will scan before I go to Sunshine and let you know. I think because I launched in 2nd and up on the converter that caused the problem due to the bad ECBM. I launched twice from idle in first and second and also from 1000 in second and all is good. Crazy.

Due to only one time shot Sat I didn't have any time to experiment and never thought there would be a problem.

The only code I can't clear is the 1214. Doesn't seem to be any other issues.

Tracy, I put the scanner on it and got up on the converter. Throttle position stayed the same but timing went to -6. As long as I don't bump the converter it's fine.

See you Sat at the track.

1214 sounds likke a shift solinoid issue, and that fact that the timing drops to -6 shows another issue related to traction control I believe. Goona take a bit more analysis to figure this one out.
