Default Removing paint

I had my C5 vandalized last night. Someone sprayed white paint on my windshield covering the entire thing. Removed the paint from the windshield, but some overspray is on the car paint. Is there a safe way to remove the white over spray that is on the black paint? Thanks for any help.

Norman thats bull****, I hope you find out who did it so I can spray paint their face!

Try a little non acetone fingernail polish remover on a cotton ball. Trust me it wont mess your paint up, just take the spray paint off, your paint is too strong to be removed by it.. Ive done it a million times for sap ect.

If it's just enamel spray can paint, Mineral Spirits should take it off without harming the old finish!!

PS, It'll strip the wax too!!

Default removing paint

Just wanted to thank the fine people at Flash Wax for giving me the perfect product to remove the white paint from my black C5. Their EZ Cutter easily removed the white paint from the car and never touched the black paint at all. Love their products especially the Grape Gloss for daily cleaning. Awesome stuff and easy to use. Cleaned off the windshield wipers, car finish and trim.

Hi Norm,

Thanks for the compliments. EZ cutter is water-based cleaner and paint remover. A safe alternative from solvent cleaners and claybars to remove paint overspray. Take care.
