Got it home. Not a mark anywhere in or out. Flat out pulls. Hate to see what headers and tune would do.

If i remember right, way back in 08 the talk was that the LS3 really got more gains from the same mods as the LS2 did.

Probably more cubes helped with the LS3.

Why do you need a catback for this car? Got an aftermarket system on it you don't like?

It's the stock system. Sounds good if i get on it , but i like more sound. Had Billy boat route 66's on my 06 C6.

Car sure runs like new. Just the stock tune is dead. Feels like a slug and has so much lag. Once it hits it's all at once and all over the place. Headers for sure and a tune and some other stuff coming.

Yeah, if that tune is anything like the stock C5Z tune I played with, the power enrichment curve makes throttle response way too sluggish because it triggers further down on gas pedal travel than most people would really like. But I'm sure gas mileage was the driving incentive for the way the engineers designed it, which this would have a direct influence on.
