some other shots of removal
here you have to pull the driver's a pillar to get to this one screw
cluster out of dash. can get to a few things when you do this.
the rear harness for the cluster. one lever to squeeze.

my review of the trim ring kit from corvettemods. it is the ABS plastic version. they sell it on their website for 69.99. but wait, if you look them up on ebay under corvetemods1, you'll find the same exact kit for 29.74. so before buying from them, look for it on ebay. talking with others that have installed them, don't use the provided double sided tape. will pull off from the edges. i just used super glue to hold them on.
i'm sure corvettemods do not make this themselves, but the oil and volt rings are cut short

Looks good. I am thinking of installing those on the Z16. Not excited about taking the dash apart though.
