Default The "Wave"! Do you get it?

To the C1 and C2 drivers --- Do you get it from C5 and C6 drivers?

To the C5 and C6 drivers --- Do you give it to the C1 and C2 drivers?

A Corvette is a Corvette. I wave at all and most wave back. Some are asleep at the switch but most wave regardless of generation.

Heck, we RARELY see any Corvettes while driving around here. We wave at them all, but only about 50 percent will wave back.

I find that to be the case here in FL but when I was in NY only the C1 and C2 drivers waved to me. I think the difference is we FL drivers, regardless of generation Vette, are more in touch with its history and what a Corvette is all about- probably because the majority of the Vette drivers I see on the road here are older. We have a sort of reverence for the car. In NY the C5 C6 drivers were the young preppie-type, lacking in any appreciation for what made the Vette the Vette.

Here Rich ... That's for that one who didn't wave at you.

A lot of Vettes here- mostly C5 and C6- I'm one of the few with a C2. I bet the ones who don't wave back are the younger drivers and they're in C5 or C6s!

I wave to all Corvettes. I'm glad to say that most of them wave back.

Most Vette drivers around my area wave, a few A-holes that don't have a clue...

I wave to everyone I see, and normally get a wave back from most. But I try to remember, ...Corvette people wave, not all Corvette owners wave back. There is a difference.
