Default finally got the headers on.

a friend found me some slp lt headers. i would recommend no one but a mechanic to tackle installation of them. i am somewhat mechanically inclined but had some problems. taking the exhaust manifolds off was fairly easy, but getting the headers in was a real pain and a number of wires needed to be relocated on the passenger side. installation would be nearly impossible without a lift. there is no way i could have finished this project without the help of the best mechanic i know (thank you again). however, once installed they sound AWESOME!!!!! the power gain was significant especially in the higher rpm range. i also noticed quicker throttle response as well. i am extremely happy with them and cannot wait to drive some more tomorrow.

Yeah man! Headers are almost a requirement for a performance car. I'm just glad they now make them in stainless. Years ago they used to all just be mild steel that would rust out pretty quickly. One of the minor reasons I put headers on my C5Z was because I just didn't like the looks of those cast iron exhaust manifolds.
