I hope the link works. You've GOT to hear this guy....considering what he was under at the moment, all I can say is he was unbelievable!

Dispatchers catch a lot of flak from the press, the public and from the officers themselves from time to time.

This guy is the epitome of professionalisma nd deserves an award!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I guess when the situation calls for it, the training kicks in. When I deployed to Saudi for the first gulf war, I was surprised at how virtually everything we did was exactly the way we had trained in the states. War is sometimes a very fluid thing, but having the training to fall back on helps tremendously.

he even said in the interview that "this is how I am with all calls..." "I tried to separate myself from the situation..."

It takes a lot to impress me...he did.
I can't say it enough...This guy was good.
