One of the members of the Panama City Corvette club has a C4 that is all in pieces and has been for 2 years now. There is also a C3 and a Trans Am there that Chris is not taking to Tally.Sure hope he calls the owners to come and get their cars.Chris actually intends to get my car done about the 14th He will drive it to and from work to break it in ans seat the rings. This way if something happens he can figure out how to get the car back at his expense. He said no problem that the final tune will be in when I come get it.I do have to let him know not to lock the tune in so if I have to have the computer changed it can be done without having to go to Chris to get it done. That wouldn't do me alot of good if I was traveling in another state and my car has a tune problem.Anyway the 17th is the big day.

What would you guess for the number of hours to complete?

Hey Bob,
The way Chris works I would guess 60 hrs.The suspension has to be done yet, inner and outer tie rods front and rear, front and rear sway bars plus new poly bushings to replace the rubber ones, new cats need to be installed on the x-pipe.only the short block is in so everything else still needs to be put on.I forgot I'm getting new lower ball joints also.Car will need an alignment and the final tune unlocked so I can take it to anyone who has EFI live.So there is still alot to do yet.

I don't know why he would lock the tune. Especially if he''s moving out of your vicinity. PM sent.

Went to see Chris today to check on my car. Got there at 1:30 pm and the shop was closed.I don't see how my car will be done by this Fri like Chris told me 3 weeks ago.Going to miss another Vette due to not having my car. It's been there over 6 months now with nothing being done to it since the short block was put in the 1st week of Aug. The only way I could get it back by Fri is for the Overhaulin team to come in and work on it. Chris hasn't bothered to text,e mail or call me since I talked to him 3 weeks ago.

I see a trend here and I've seen this posted as well in other threads. It's impossible to get anything done when you don't work. Tomorrow is the 14th and the day it was going to be complete.

If it were my car it would be out of there. Even if it does get finished I wouldn't trust it and I would have someone else check it out. Then if they find problems you're going to end up paying double. I would stop the bleeding right now.

Wrong forum for me to say anything else. Sorry for your problems.

After emailing Chris and texting him with no response it's time to get my car out of there and have it finished somewhere else.Chris needs to put my front suspension back together so i can push my car on a trailer next week and get all my parts.Hopefully all the parts will be there but I really have doubts that they will be and it will cost me more money to replace them.GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
