Don't believe the polls. They attempt to influence elections simply by saying someone is ahead. Unfortunately, some people will vote for a candidate for no other reason than they thing he/she will be a winner. People like to think their vote makes a difference, so they WANT to vote for a probable winner.

Let me tell you guys something. You should be afraid......be very afraid.

Instead of buying up guns and ammo you should be thinking about saving your money up under the mattress, finding your nice cozy spot in the third world and how much it will cost to ship your 'vette there.

A little story if you will and hopefully someone can confirm this. The last man on this side of the world that carried on with this same "hope and change and change and hope message spreading the wealth" bullsh!t, my father came to this country a year later. That year he came was 1960 and that man the previous year was Fidel Castro. My dad told me most of Cuba believed all his rhetoric and it's been almost fifty years later and look at them now.....still "hoping for change!" That's how it starts. First "hope and change," then it's "spreading the wealth," then it becomes a "revolution," next it's full-blown Socialism until finally you got the gun to your head and it's goddamn Communism.

My brother-in-law, also Cuban, came to the U.S. during the '70's and he grew up in that system. I can see the anger in his face and recently I have seen him lose his cool with Obama supporters. I've never seen that happen before. He experienced it from it's inception until it got bad. One of my best friends has only been in the U.S. for ten years, also from Cuba and says when he hears Obama bin Laden speak it sounds like Castro but translated in English. He's my age so he grew up in that system since it was bad going to even worse and has returned home a few times and reports nothing but horror stories.

Three different individuals, three different generations, all from before it's beginning to it's current state. My dad is 69 now and I swear I see that look in his face similar to that look like when my mom passed away. I don't know gents but whatever you choose to do, keep a cool head and make sure your voice is heard before or on November 4th.

I'm an independant. I tote partylines for no one. I've decided who to vote for before by a cointoss (no lie)! But not this time. I'll take Juan McCarnage anyday over Barack Hussein Osama. And besides, Sarah Palin is hot! She's restored my confidence in "Bush!"

Well, if everything goes to hell, I'm going to Japan. I have a lot of friends there who... um... respect the law less than the lawmakers would like. The yakuza is misunderstood, I'm telling ya!

We must be long lost brothers or something cause I had already planned that! You are correct. The Yakuza in Japan is actually good.

I already have my plush penthouse loft scoped out in Makati City in the Philippines if Japan is too expensive for my needs. Oh yeah, shipping the car is about $3K. Found out from a friend's friend who flew to Japan to check out a "real" Skyline (not a GTR) and bought it.

The election of Obama will signal a definite downturn for America. His platform violates everything we have fought for and hold sacred. There is a bigger picture here. A socialist movement funded by BIG money (Soros & others) have succeeded in manipulating the financial markets into chaos so Bush and the Republicans will get the blame....does anyone think the timing of this meltdown is coincidence? God help us if we get Nobama along with a Democratic Congress... By the way, if he is elected, enjoy your vettes for the short remaining time you will have them...they will be "redistributed" to someone too lazy to get a job!

No body is going to take our toys. Our $$? Maybe, but our toys? nope.

Instead, he and the boyz will just tax the living hell out of them as "gas guzzlers" and raise the fuel taxes accordingly.

But again, nothing spectacular I believe, will happen in the 1st four.

If he get's elected, he'll do some good things for the 1st four to ease the country into a sense of complacency.....then.........

Communism was never forced on the people, at the beginning. They bought into the lies, hook line and sinker. The way you talk someone into taking a bitter pill is by lying about how much good it will do you. When someone bases their platform on "change", everyone believes that the change will benefit "them".

Socialism is already well established in the USA.

Quote:
From Wikipedia:

Socialism refers to a broad set of economic theories of social organization advocating state or collective ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, and the creation of an egalitarian society.[1][2] Modern socialism originated in the late nineteenth-century working class political movement. Karl Marx posited that socialism would be achieved via class struggle and a proletarian revolution which represents the transitional stage between capitalism and communism.[3][4]

Socialists mainly share the belief that capitalism unfairly concentrates power and wealth among a small segment of society that controls capital, and creates an unequal society. All socialists advocate the creation of an egalitarian society, in which wealth and power are distributed more evenly, although there is considerable disagreement among socialists over how, and to what extent this could be achieved.[1]

Socialism is not a discrete philosophy of fixed doctrine and program; its branches advocate a degree of social interventionism and economic rationalization, sometimes opposing each other. Another dividing feature of the socialist movement is the split on how a socialist economy should be established between the reformists and the revolutionaries. Some socialists advocate complete nationalization of the means of production, distribution, and exchange; while others advocate state control of capital within the framework of a market economy. Social democrats propose selective nationalization of key national industries in mixed economies combined with tax-funded welfare programs; Libertarian socialism (which includes Socialist Anarchism and Libertarian Marxism) rejects state control and ownership of the economy altogether and advocates direct collective ownership of the means of production via co-operative workers' councils and workplace democracy.
Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae have been nationalized. The Federal Reserve has taken over AIG. This was done by DICTATE by the president of the USA, the Treasury Secretary, and the Federal Reserve Chairman, WITHOUT input and authorization from Congress. Regardless of the fact that the US Constitution requires that all spending bills originate within the House of Representatives. And where is the money coming from to do all this? Why our TAXES, of course. But since the government is already operating way in the red, who the hell is going to bail out the USA when the world finally realizes that our country is insolvent? The ONLY way the government can bail out the financial mess via taxes is by virtually taking every cent me make to do it. Which means we leapfrog the state of Communism completely to go directly to the status of slavery and dictatorship.

Yeah, keep your guns loaded. But bear in mind that protecting your life and property by force may soon be deemed as treason.
