Default Minor Mods - Advice?

Have a new (2200 mi) '07 A6 and will be adding headers, hi flo cats and 160 deg stat next week. I think I will add a tune to make sure she doesn't run too lean w/ the new cats, etc. I'm still undecided about the CAI and am going slowly because I don't want any issues w/ the warranty. Does anyone out there have any suggestions or comments? What gains can I expect? Also, any recommendations for tuners (in the Tampa Bay area) are appreciated!

I had my car tuned at his shop when I had it run on his dyno..he did not perform any of my mods but, he comes highly recomended....and after the tune ( last year ) the car has performed great..

I agree, Greg is the man.

Consider a Callaway Honker for your CAI, it has the most "factory" look and quality.

BTW, your 160 stat won't "do" much until you get your fan temps adjusted. That will be part of your tune.

Your car will respond well to a performance dyno tune. After the mentioned mods are performed, your computer parameters will need to be changed. The only unfortunate part of the tune for a 6speed auto is that there is not yet any way to change the transmission calibrations. We have a fairly aggressive heads/cam A6 running around obviously on stock trans calibration and the shift points etc is perfect for that customer's needs/likes.
