hooters on Gandy and car gathering night

I was at Hooters today on Gandy blvd just over the Gandy bridge in south Tampa, and asked the manager what it takes to have a car gathering night there once a month. We'd have to choose Monday through Thursday. Im looking at breaking up the week a little and having it on a wednesday. It wont be a car show per say with prizes, but it would be a couple hours of cars, brew, wings, and Oh ya the Hooter Girls. How many of you would be seriously interested in once a month gathering?

Is it going to be limited to Corvettes only, open to all makes or any domestic (domestic powered?) vehicle?

I posted it on a couple of corvette forums, LSx type forums, New Gen5 camaro forums and a local drag racing forum. all that support american made vehicles. I love old muscle as much as new. I didnt want any ricers so I left it off a local racing forum for imports.

Something to do now that the cooler weather has arrived.

Sounds like fun I am in. But the livein girlfriend was reading over my shoulder andd opened the post and got pissy at me just at the mention of Hooters girls.

I finally remembered to call back the manager yesterday. Im going there this morning for more details and what's involved.

Ill let you knows know what we come up with, but I may put it off till after the new year unless I can put something together the week of December 20th.

It sounds like a great idea. Looking forward to it again.

The only issues we ever experienced when we used to hold our weekly, then monthly F-Body events, were idiots that couldn't control thier throttle foot in or coming out of the parking lot

Thier escapades left a bad taste in peoples mouths, and with families and kids in the restaurant, there were some complaints. Management finally shut it down

Hopefully, everyone will behave as adults, or be asked to leave.
