Are there any C3 racers left ?
I have a set of C3 rear crossmember locators. These are bolted over the mounts that hold the rubber bushings in the rear crossmember. The rubber mounts let the crossmember and differential move around in hard cornering situations encountered in autocross and road racing.
They take about 15 min. to install with simple hand tools. Just remove the bolt that holds the crossmember to the frame. Install the big aluminum washer over the mount and reattach using the longer bolts supplied with this kit. Torque them down and now the rear crossmember is mounted rigidly to the frame eliminating any play from the rubber mount.
Parts vendors sell these kits for about $50. I’ll take
$25 + $6 postage for the kit.
