Default 84 C4 Headlight Motor Problems

Well,
here is my first posting for help. My passenger headlight motor will not operate. At first I thought it was the motor. So I have replaced it with a new motor. Then it work sometimes and when it did not I would wiggle the plug and will operate. Now Im not getting any movement. Thinking that it was an issue with the female plug on the car I splice the wires and connected them directly to each other without the plug. Still nothing!?. I have been to other forums and they talk about an, actuator a relay and some other issue but I want to stop guessing and see if any C4 out there has had this issue and has fixed it. Any suggestions?

I've heard the pre 86's are trickier than the rest. I'd give John over at AutoXTC a call (727-556-0335). He know's a crap load about the C4. I'm pretty sure you've already narrowed it down to the relay though.

John definately knows his stuff

Noting from your info that yuo're in Tampa, you might want to check also with Andreh at Insty Lube on North Dale Mabry:

Insty Tune & Lube - instytuneandlube.com
14783 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa - (813) 960-3908

Total vette headOwns and works on them daily.

If you're around on Saturday afternoons, a good sized group of us meet up there from about 5 or so until 7:30-8 pm depending?

We come and go as we like and it's on the calendar as the "informal car show."

Bring the car up and he'll take a loiok at it

I won't be there this saturday, but tell him Gordon told you to talk to him.

He'll treat you well
