Default Coverking

Have any of my buds had experience and used Coverking Neoprene CR seat covers? I now have a set on order to protect my leather from damage by my bull headed Bull Terrier as we go on vacation a few months down the road from now. I am impressed with the company being an American Co. which produces their products in California.

"Peek-a-Blue will be getting black neoprene sides and blue inserts and the C5 emblem will be embroidered on too. It would have been nice to have been able to get the Z06 embroidered but oh well.

Coverking builds the covers after the order has been placed and says it'll take 2 to 3 weeks before they are on their was back to me.

Do you guys use them?, have you used them or other Coverking products and what did you like or hate.

These covers go on right over the leather and even bring a bit of extra padding.

I did see them in use on a white C6 Vert,. They fitted better then any covers I have ever seen. They were at the Lake Mirror Classic this past year

My seats are totally un damaged and I intend to keep it that way.

What have you guys found along these lines?

You know, Ken, I've been thinking about getting a set of these for my own C5Z. I thought they looked pretty sharp in the photos I've seen, but it's just been something on the back burner lately.

What fabric are you considering? The suede looks like it would be real comfortable.

I'm wondering about install and how much trouble that will be. Actually, I need to pull out the driver's seat anyway so I can put in new nylon washers into the seat mechanism. I have the "rocking seat" syndrome so that needs to be done sooner or later. That would probably be the time to do the seat cover thing, I guess.

The fabric I choose was the Neoprene CR. with black outer edges and inner blue.

I think your talking about your Vett seats .I have a Mastiff and she doesn't ride in my vett ,it would be like three people in two seats .Plus she farts (like burnt rubber.)

The covers sound interesting .

I ordered a pair for my 50 AE but I didn't like the color match and returned them. They looked like they would protect the seats.

I purchased a set several years ago. They were OK but really faded in time (2 years).

Is your car left outside, under cover (carport), or in a garage?

At the time it was my daily driver. About 5 hours a day in the sun X 5 days a week. They were black with red stitching, The stitching turned pink within 6 months. As far as holding up, no rips, tears or stretching. I gave them to a member in Tampa along with the original leather covers after I installed new hides.
