Hi Ray, Yeah it would be a bit of a drive for you just to eat and run. Mote Marine is a research marine biology facility with its own aquarium and pools for sick dolphins, turtles, etc. The only problem with cruising down the island is the speed limit (35 mph in most areas) and the LEO are everywhere waiting!
Bones is a funky place to eat and Mote Marine is is good 90 minute or so tour. Perhaps we can figure in a run somewhere between lunch and the marine facility and take the long way around. Just a thought. I'll keep thinking about how to make it a better day. Mark

Default Mark,

It doesn't sound to shabby the way it is. Lunch and and visiting the Mote Marine even if it is 35mph. Sometimes taking it slow is the only way to see what's around you.
Set it up, throw some dates out there and maybe some others will want to join in !!!

The 'Bones and Mote are a great idea, but to while away the time, a cruze down to St. Armands Circle for a coffee or an adult beverage is always a nice time. There is lots of shopping for the womenfolk(bring a full wallett or plastic 'cause the "Circle" shops can be quite pricy). Lido beach is only a few hundred feet away. Let me know when and we will join you, If you don't mind.

If and when you do decide to make this happen, May I suggest you start a New thread. Otherwise it may get lost in this one, and some may not even view it since it's under "Where to start the mods".
