weather
I don't know what it is like where you all live, but we have been having some crappy weather. Last Saturday went golfing and only got in 7 holes before it rained. This weekend does not look any better. I may as well work

We had a spell of rain every day last weekend here below Tallahassee, but this past week was fairly dry. Lots of thunder rumbling around me nearly every day. My stream is looking pretty low, so not much water draining into it from up to the north west where the drainage area is that feeds it. Saw a cottonmouth sitting on the bank a week or so ago. They will do that when the water levels get low and the fish get concentrated into the smaller areas of water.
At least we aren't being bashed by hurricanes!! (knock on wood...)

I don't mind the rain, except having to drive in it. I'm home most of the time during the day, so as far as I'm concerned, rain, rain, rain. I just can't stand the frickin' heat and humidity. I know I'm in the wrong state. Believe me, I'm working on getting the hell out of it. Probably won't be for a couple of years though.

Honestly, from what I have seen of the weather here in north Florida, the best way I can describe it is Drought conditions with widely scattered flooding.

Madn3ss,
Make sure you do your research on your quest to get away from heat and humidity. And you can eliminate the Mid-Atlantic region. It was so damn hot and humid yesterday, that I quit playing golf after nine holes. I took plenty of water with me to replenish my fluids and still got light headed bending over to pick my ball out of the cup. It has been mid 90's with high humidity here in Maryland for weeks. Wednesday it is supposed to be above 100 degrees and that is not the first time this will happen this summer!
I am driving down to my house in Ft. Myers at the end of this coming week and I am looking forward to just getting away from this intense heat in Maryland for a few days. Now how sick is that???
Good luck on your search, but I would stay away from coastal states where large masses of water can drive the humidity as high as the temperature. Just my opinion.
