Madness,
You are right, Maryland does have specialty plates for various types of clubs. I posted this plate in another thread on our site not long ago, but here is the current plate on my '01 vert. This plate is for the Bel Air Corvette Club (about 20 minutes north of Baltimore). I have been with this club since 1989, I think? I was hoping that Florida had similar arrangements, but it does not appear so.

A Florida Corvette plate would be cool. Did you happen to read the 17 pages of Procedure RS-20 from the HSMV link? Who's got the 60k for the application fee? We'll have to pass around a hat at the shows!

60K!! Well let's see, we have 703 registered members right now, so that works out to just under $86 each. But in reality probably only around 1 percent (or 7 members) would actually pony up, so that puts the bill at $8,572 each.
Yeah, THAT will fly...................

Yeah, no offense Rich. If I had an extra $8,572 layin' around, I'd probably slap a supercharger on my car. Or heads and cam, then tinker with the drive shaft. Get it down to the $86 and I'm in.

I have to read this RS-20 thing at lunch. You also have to ensure a minimum of 1000 average active registrations each year. Plus a charity to benefit from the charges. I don't think the home for way-word Hooters waitresses would cut it.
