Color scheme

Hey Rich,
As I get older

my eyes aren't what they used to be. Has anyone else suggested a white background with black font? If not...I would like to.

Well, honestly a color scheme can be just as personally guided as a person's taste in clothes, cars, food, and about anything else you can think of. It would be impossible to come up with a color scheme that everyone would unamimously agree to being the "best" for them. And in this case, it would take a WHOLE lot of trouble to change the color scheme here, without an overwhelming reason to do so.

So if there are more votes in this direction, toss 'em into the ring....

I perfer a darker color scheme, easier on the eyes..good for me. Which makes me stay here longer, do more posting and put up more page views...good for you.

I certainly wouldn't want to cause you a whole lot of trouble by changing the color scheme just for me! Apparently, it's just MY eyes. As much as I hate doing so, I will admit defeat

I will be more then happy to "squint" at what is a great site

Ive been sitting in front of a computer for years looking at little codes and I have cronic migrains, so white fonts have always bothered me, I however seem to use them on my site ALLOT

Ive learnt to highlight the text with my cursor and read everything that way!

Rashelle, do you wear glasses? I used to get a LOT of migraines years ago. I soon figured out I got nearly all of them while sitting in front of a computer screen. I could actually feel my eyes "snap" when I would look away from the screen and my focus tried to compensate. I then went and got eyeglasses, and the number of migraines dropped SUBSTANTIALLY. I think most of the problems were caused because my left eye is weaker than my right eye, and the glasses helped considerably to compensate for that problem.

Im supposed to. but they make it worse, I had my head injured when I was a little girl and have nerve damage that triggers the migraines! I cant belive I just told the interweb that I have damage around my brain, but Im sure it was figured out long ago

Yeah, it does take a LOT of guts to admit publicly that you are dain bramaged.....

Come to think of it, I DID fall out of a tree myself when I was a kid..........
