Default C6 Fuel Rail Covers

Need a little help. I would like to paint the Fuel Rail covers on my C6 but don't know how to take off the driver's side off. There is a hose going through the cover. In my C5, the cover had a bottom opening where the hose would slip off. The C6 doesn't have that opening.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I just looked at the spot you indicated and sure enough, there is the slot.
You just confirmed what my wife tells me all the time "You never look".
