Default Cruise vacuum lines, trying to replace...

The cruise on my 95 stopped working, checked the vacuum lines and they're pretty dry-rotted. Not sure if this is the culprit, but it's the cheapest route to start with.
My problem is the line that runs through the firewall, can't squeeze my hand to trace the line under the power steering unit into the firewall.

Any tricks of the trade for this or some really good advice?

Thanks!

do you have a part # for the switch, and how much??
i might as well replace the switch if i'm replacing the tubes.

any tricks on getting up in there with the vacuum tubes & switch? the only time i have to work on it is during the day in 98 degree sunny heat and don't feel like trying to figure out the best method (as i'm loosing 30lbs. in water weight).

I think the last Cruse vacuum switch I bought from Chevrolet was about $18.00 my cost!!I'd have to dig around here for the part # But I'm sure I've got it!! I take the Drivers seat out and lay in the floor with my legs sticking up in the rear compartment!!I'm 53 and don't bend like I used too!!!!!
