Yeah. Latest forecast shows landfall around here about 2pm on Wednesday. Of course, things can change dramatically with these long term forecasts..... Wonder where my chainsaw is?

Yeah. The worst damage is usually for those areas to the east of the center of a hurricane when it comes up the Gulf. In this case, the entire west coast of the state should keep an eye on this one.

If that forcast track holds true, and we all know how that track will flop flop from day to day, we would get some strong winds and maybe 6"+ of rain out of it.
I am on the gulf in Pasco county, we had over 24" of Rain in July alone, and so far about 4.5" this month, so it could be a record wet summer for where i live.
We should know more about the track of the storm Sunday night.

If that track stays east of my home then we get winds blowing from the northeast and no where near the rainfall we would get if the storm tracks west of my place.
