Well, we've had our home on the market about a year now and just closed the sale this evening. Unfortunately, the home we're building has not yet been started... So, we'll be renting for awhile and we move out of here Monday. Not sure when we'll be up on the cable yet. I'll be here Sat/Sun but then I'll catch up on things when we're hooked up again. I'm SO glad I'm not going to have 2 mortgage payments! That was one of my big worries.
Hope the new home gets built quickly, but not TOO quickly such that it isn't done well. Hopefully the location is close enough where you can check on progress every day. Best to keep a close eye on things......
Gongrats on sale of your house. I know your pain, having done same twice in the past 14 years. Looking forward to your return. Are you still going to be in same area?
