oh..let me answer this...Mark is known as "No Rock" by those of us who have had the pleasure of knowing him awhile...since 94.9 is "Soft, easy favorites"

Pewter is mostly correct. I spent time in LA(Cali) in the late 80's when a
legendary hard-rock station was on Purerock 105.5 KNAC. When I returned to
Virginia my tag was 105-KNAC and people in radio started to call me that.

I've been "Purerock105" when I've worked in country, oldies, top 40, and now
current Soft AC formats.

And it's 'Soft & Contemporary" mofo, ..."Easy Favorites" is our sister station
the Dove, coincidentially at 105.5...Go figure
