Tracy, I'm just curious; why is Ken's restoration taking so long? I don't understand why it takes several weeks to get Goldie up and running. Again, just curious and no criticism intended.

We had to disassemble the entire engine to make sure there were no other obstructions even though the cam bearing was obvious. We also are doing it for a bare minimum cost to Ken so we have put the reg rate pay jobs ahead of it to do so. We also originally did the cam swap in car, and to find & correct the problem (that appears to have caused the first original failure) we had to pull the motor (not easy in a BB C3!) to do so. And while it was out & apart we decided to port the intake to match the heads & refinish all his engine parts, exhaust manifolds, water pump, etc. since he shows the car.

I expected to have it all finished yesterday, only need to fill fluids & button up the last bits but I had to go to Port Charlotte today to tune a built Audi S4 V8.....and man the Relentless RPM shop is awesome. AWD dyno....spread the word to the guys that need one, very professional team there. Ran into Corey (LS2POWA) there as well.
I urge all that can to attened the dyno day tomorrow to at the very least meet & greet. Some nice rides there.
