I can be in Ocala in the same length of time it takes to get to the Mall at Millennia.
I agree, this road-trip ISN'T just for Corvette-owners from Orlando:
we'd appreciate ANY Corvette-owners who'd like to join us either FOR the drive from Orlando, or MEETING-US at the Museum:
I appoint YOU in-charge of organizing the faction from Daytona who want to meet us AT the Museum that day!

I can do that. Lets say the Wal-Mart Parking lot at the intersection of Route 40 and I-95 at 8:30. Lots of places to eat around there and plenty of parking. I will see what I can round up.

As stated earlier, the group coming from Orlando via the Turnpike should be arriving approx 10:30 AM that day:
hope to see you then!!!!!

I think the majority (at least the folks I know) would be coming from the other areas mentioned. Maybe you could get a seperate caravan going from over your way. 528, 408, I-4 Eastbound and the Turnpike are all within relatively close proximity compared to driving out towards Daytona.

Not sure if we can make it at this point, but a meeting at 40 & I-4 is just as
close as I-4 and turnpike. Starting to look like lots of vettes and a good time.

Default Add at least 2 more!

Great place and person. Been there several times (took daughter once & she loved it). Once while there, Garlits himself came out and talked with me (probably cause I had on all kinds of NHRA stuff at the time) and took me behind the doors and let me help him and a couple other workers push out his first dragster/rail that had been undergoing some repairs, back into the museum. I felt like the president of the US (not this Bush one!).
Anyway, as usual, I've rambled on.
Count me and my wife in!

Thumbs up

I was just at the museum this past Saturday for the first time. It is great. I am going to bring up the road trip to the Space Coast Corvette Club at our meeting on Jan. 7th. Hopefully we can pull some more folks to go. I plan on being there.

That would be great if they come. I've only seen a Corvette caravan once in my life and man, what a sight!

The toy parade had 66 Corvettes and that was breathtaking.
