Sure is funny to watch, but if it was my car I might be a tad pissed. Looks like they all came off at the same time. I wonder if he had any advance notice that something was wrong, like a noise, a vibration, or steering problems?

I bet he changed tires for the event and forgot to tighten the lugs.
Or forgot to put them on at all... Last time I changed wheels for autocross, before we lined up for grid, I went over all my lug nuts again. I wanted to make sure that wouldn't happen.

IIRC this guy was from Tallahassee and he went to some name brand chain tire store to get a set of lug nuts for those wheels and he was given the wrong thread pitch, 1/2 x 20 or 12 x 1.5 or vice versa....
