Default Whats your favorite show on TV?

Personally i like the dailyshow/colbert report best. I really wish they played Top Gear here in the states though. best automotive show ever. I also like Lost. cant wait till season 3.

I can only get through about a minute of the Daily show before switching it off. I have no favorite, try to watch racing of any kind.

Adam, you can acutually download the full episodes of Top Gear here.
http://www.finalgear.com/shows/topgear/

Beware though, they are 300-400megs.

As for the shows that I watch, let's not go there. No joke, through out the year, I probably watch at least 30 different series regularly. Not counting NASCAR, Formula 1 and Indy racing, many Yankee games, Football and Hockey too! That's what happens when you work nights and your friends work days. Plus, I don't have any kids.

A couple of my current favorites are:
Rescue Me
The Shield
24
Lost
Nip/Tuck
Entourage
Two and a Half Men

Big fan of The Shield, watch it religiously.

Love some of the good sitcoms, although not hooked on any of the current ones. Loved Everybody Loves Raymond, great cast.

Also hooked on Law & Order SVU, another great cast.

Heck, I get cable TV free with my Comcast internet account, but the only thing I ever watch is the Weather Channel, and even that is rare. I buy movies on DVD and watch those, and that's about all. I absolutely HATE being bombarded by commercial after commercial after commercial. And once the pinheads start putting commercials throughout the DVD movies (and you just KNOW they are considering it) then I will be done with those as well.

Problem is, I remember the original hype they used to sell cable TV. It was supposed to be commercial free because we were paying for the service up front. If I wasn't getting it for free, I wouldn't have TV at all.

I love my DVR. I don't hardly watch anything live anymore. Maybe a sporting event every now and then. Usually I let it start for a while, then I watch and forward through commercials. I even have a DVR in my PC. I watch some shows or games while surfing the net.

I only watch a few reality shows. The Biggest Loser, American Idol and Last Comic Standing.

If you want to consider these reality tv shows.
World Series of Poker
World Poker Tour
Monster House
Celebrity Poker Showdown
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (I actually have several pictures from a build they did a few miles from my house. The guy that was blinded in a shooting at a Radio Shack.)
