I have to admit this is one of the theads that I read the most. But is only a close second to the roadhouse. Nice engine though.

Well, the timing chain cover and bung came in on Friday. It appears that it is taking Monday thru today (Wednesday) to get this minor part of the entire fiasco finished. That's assuming that it won't leak or otherwise be another unforeseen problem itself. I hope Chris checked it to make certain it FIT before having the bung welded into it.

The front of the engine is supposed to be put back together tomorrow and tuning resumed on Friday.

Connie asked me if I wanted to place another bet with her. Double or nothing. I declined this time.....

Mike, I'm not planning on running out there till the afternoon. I just talked to Chris and they are still putting it back together with the new timing chain cover. From implied indications, I don't expect tuning to get resumed today. Really the only reason I'm running out there is to get the camera mounts that I left at the shop last time I was there. Like a dummy I left BOTH of them there....

Or think of an internally threaded thingy that the sensor screws into.
Think of the thingy as a 2/4 inch pistol barrel without the site and threaded inside.

You can also do a 'bung' search on Google.

Time to get that car done Rich!!!
