I'm pretty happy with my C5Z. If I had extra money laying around it'd probably go toward either an '08 Z51 C6 or a C6Z. But even those aren't in my immediate future. The ZR1 would be cool but I couldn't really justify spending 100k on bragging rights.

Wonder how long it will take for GM to offer the LS9 as a crate engine offering? From the specs, it's a pretty solid piece of machinery. Has all the goodies build inside.

I love my 07 vert. Really though, other than bragging rights or racing, how much power do you really need to enjoy the vette? It's a beautiful car right out of the box. Now of course if I had the big monopoly money, then supercharger or twin turbos with methyl injection would be in my Christmas stocking. But then I would be living alone because my bride would kick my arse out of the house. That ZR1 sure does look nice except for the clear bubble on the hood

Yeah, that would be great! Maybe we could all cruise to some function some day. At the very least, maybe up to the What-A-Burger on the third Saturday of the month for a cruise in with Cruisin Corvettes. We could be the Crawfordville contingent.

I'm gonna buy one.......since I'm going to win the lotto about two weeks before the release date of the ZR1, I'll make sure to preorder it. It'll look great next to my C5, my Trans Am, and my newly acquired R34 Nissan Skyilne and Ferrari F430.

Did I also mention I was going to build a sixteen car garage with 72" LCD, four la-z-boys, a pool table, a humidor, a urinal and a stage with a stripper pole and disco ball?

I'll be getting one if I can get it for sticker or slightly above. got my z from Indiana at sticker at the height of the fury. just hope the c7 doesn't come too quickly with too much power to upstage my zr-1. upgraded interior will be in my future as well!
