that sly dog of a salesman did not mention anything about it being on ebay OR that they wanted a $3K markup.

That is just the Buy It Now price. The reserve may be MSRP, they will close the aution early if you pay the B.I.N. price.

I got mine at Coggin for MSRP, but only because I am a long time customer. I mentioned to him that I would be posting on a few forums about the car, and would have liked to have known it was listed on ebay.
I still consider Steve to be a straight up guy though, he's been good to me over the years and I'm sure he didn't intentionally omit the truth.

This is starting to get personal. 
I sell food to restaurants for a living and I never intentionally omit the truth. 
If a customer asks if I can go lower on my price I always tell the truth.
