Posting issues?
I've gotten a few private messages from a member who is saying that he is having periodic problems trying to post messages on this site. Viewing the pages is no problem, but only when he tries to post a reply does the system seems to hang up and time out on him. Oddly enough, in one instance when I suggested that he reboot his PC, that seemed to temporarily fix the problem. He says he is not having this problem with any other site when he tries to post to them at the same time he is having problems here.
So, is anyone else experiencing this problem? Of course, if you can't POST.......

No problems here, just a little slow, but I think that is an ongoing issue that you're already aware of.

I believe the problem could possibly be related to AOL, so if your ISP is AOL, you may have to PM me about it. I have contacted the data center network people to see if there is anything that can be done from their end. But quite honestly, my recommendation would be to just ditch AOL. They are a pain in the butt to deal with about ANY issue I have had to contact them about.

BTW, if anyone has connectivity issues to this site, the server techs say doing a traceroute and forwarding the info to them through me would be a BIG help. So, here's how you do that:
- Click Start
- Click Run
- Type cmd, pres enter.
- Type tracert CorvetteFlorida.com and press enter.
- Mouse right click on cmd window and Select All
- Ctrl-C to copy window to scratchpad.
- Paste window text into an email or PM to me.

Rich,
I waited a little while before I responded because I wanted to check things out. Ever since you changed your SQLthingy, this site is doing just fine. It now flys and no more database errors! I am also not having any problems with posting. 
Just as an FYI, I am using Comcast for my ISP.
