Default GATOR DONE

Last night around 12:30 AM, was traveling north on SR 27 north of Clewiston after my son's wedding . Lo and behold , I came upon a 4-5 foot gator crossing the road. Before I knew it, I nailed him between the wheels. Air dam took the impact (minor damage) . Luckily, we were in our Dodge Nitro and not in our C6 otherwise I would be looking to replace the entire front end today.

Yeah man. On the way back home after buying my C5Z down in south Florida, I learned the hard way that you can't straddle an armadillo with a Corvette like you can with other vehicles. It was dark, and I didn't even see it till it was too late to do anything but hit it or go flying off into the swamp on route 98 between Perry and Newport. I would STRONGLY not recommend that anyone try to straddle a sizeable critter in a vette going 60+ mph!

Messed up my air dams, which have been replaced, and also bent my front bumper skid plate, which I really should get replaced as well. The metal doesn't look like it will bend back very well without possibly snapping.
