Those two states probably don't have any real delegate powers. I saw pics of Obama in a tropical location (maybe BVI or the USVI a few months ago) on a vacation with his family mid campaign.

I agree. The only President I ever voted for was Reagan. I voted "against" each one after that.

McCain will still give the Democratic congress whatever they want to be "bi-partisan."

WTF is up with that? (disregarding the number of states thing!)

Maybe they don't count since they're not on the "mainland?"

That ought to sit well with the people of those 2 states....
Dude!!!! How could you forget the states of Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. V.I., The United Kingdom, Japan, Israel and the lost Commonwealth of Atlantis?! 50+7 is 57 states, jeeeez!!!!!!!

No good choices

How's the weather in Costa Rica this time of year?
Hot and humid, just like here. Same in the South Pacific and Far East!

It used to be that property was cheap in Costa Rica. Not any longer. Which means, I guess, that a LOT of people have been moving there and demand has jacked up the prices.

Come to think of it, this may be an excellent way for the USA to implement population control. Put people into high office that will get everyone bailing out across the borders. Pretty slick, I must admit.....

It's still not that bad. I know a few scumbags that have bought lots of cheap property down there and are becoming slumlords to other United Statesmen who are looking for something cheap abroad. Not to mention that Costa Rica does NOT have an extradition treaty with the U.S. which makes it diserable to other scumbags.

I'm looking into the South Pacific myself. Not only cheaper but safer from zombies as well!
