What exactly do you want this photo section for?

And while I am thinking of it, I want to let everyone know that you can upload photos to the Photo Gallery section here, and link to them not only within posts in the forum section here, but also externally on other sites as well. Once you have your photo uploaded, simply click on the button provided to copy the URL text to the clipboard and you can then paste it into any message on any vBulletin or similar message board.

Easy............

you know I forget about the gallery too much

sad thing is that I use it, I was thinking of a forum that all of our "this week @ this show" photos can be moved into and be archived easier finding later on

One thing that worries me about those photo shows is that if the photo hosting site decides to clamp down on external linking because of bandwidth concerns, then the link here becomes a dead link. Unfortunately I have seen that happen over the years........

There is already a "Places and Events" section in the photo gallery section, but that doesn't really help for external links.

Anyway, if enough of you think this is a good idea to have a separate forum for show and even photos, I can set it up. I just don't want to jump right in and create new forums and make this site overly complicated and possibly have a bunch of redundant and overlapping forums. So I like to think about it and have everyone else think about it as well when it is in the discussion stages.

I have a lot of pics sitting idle in my PhotoBucket account and they can be turned into slideshows. It will be easy to put them up.
