E3 Spark plugs?

Has anybody heard of, or used the e3 diamond fire plugs, If so, what are the pros & cons?

I had a set in my C5Z for a while, after reading a lot of positive info about them. They got replaced when I had my STS turbo kit installed, and I've just never gotten around to figuring out what type of E3 plugs to get in order to put them back in.

I like the design, and haven't really heard any negative reviews about them.

As for me feeling any difference, well, no, but I had headers and X-pipe put on at the same time, plus a couple of other odds and ends. So any change in performance would have been far overshadowed by the other changes made at the time.

One that looks similar to these E3 plugs are ones called Torquemasters, http://www.extremespark.com I don't use them, but I have a friend, with of all things and don't laugh, a pretty reved up Lexus RX300, http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2215309/4 (see this page for the plug pictures) and had pretty good success with them south of the border where they had very high sulfur gasoline (not to mention he was way up high in altitude). He's glad he has them given the 10% ethanol we now have around here.

I incidentally have been using Pulstar plugs, http://www.pulstarplug.com/index.html in my 06 Z06 and have noticed a bit better MPG, always over 20, and the kick was noticeable the day they were installed.

Yeah, I've read about them, but at $200 for a set, I wasn't inclined to be the first on my block to try them. Interesting to hear you had noticeably good results from using them......

My friend with the Lexus had some buddies who HC (hydrocarbon problems) with some older vehicles in smogland, a.k.a. California, who installed them and passed the emissions test without issue and their HC counts were tremendously lower. Still with forced induction, you would want to run colder plugs. The gaps on these were about 40 by my recollection.
